Tallahassee offers five different golf courses throughout the city. Many are close to the Florida State University campus and apartment complexes for students and non-students alike. SEMINOLE LEGACY GOLF CLUB
The Seminole Legacy Golf Club is located on the campus of Florida State University and is home to both the FSU Men's and Women's golf teams. Southwest Tallahassee area would be a good location such as The Boulevard apartments or the Vertex.
JAKE GAITHER
The Jake Gaither Golf Course is also located in southwest Tallahassee close to FSU. They offer college student days on Tuesday and Thursday which is $13 for 9 or 18 holes and includes a cart. The University Courtyard apartments are less than a mile from the course and a short commute to FSU and FAMU.
CAPITAL CITY COUNTRY CLUB
Capital City Country Club is located in downtown and southeast Tallahassee and a short commute to the FSU campus. It is a semi-private club that offers public play opportunities. Tally Square apartments is located north of this course and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
HILAMAN GOLF COURSE
The Hilaman Golf Course is also located in southeast Tallahassee just minutes from The State Capital. With a membership from this course, you will also get golfing privileges at the Jake Gaither Golf Course. Evergreens at Mahan apartments are close to midtown Tallahassee and this course and less than five miles from FSU.
SOUTHWOOD GOLF CLUB
The Southwood Golf Club is also located in southeast Tallahassee. This is a semi-private golf club located in the master-planned SouthWood community. The Parkway Square apartments located off Apalachee Parkway would be a great option close to this course or the Hilaman Golf Course and a quick trip to the FSU campus.
KILLEARN COUNTRY CLUB
The Killearn Country Club is a private club but is offering public play during their construction phase. The course is located in the northeast Tallahassee area. This area of town is perfect to start a family in a quiet, residential area. The Rolling Hills apartments are north of the Florida State University campus and downtown and south of the Killearn Country Club.
