Homecoming week is one of the most infamous and popular weeks at FAMU. You can expect the city to be especially crowded during this time. If you are looking for something away from campus and outdoors, check out Lake Ella. Here, you can relax and soak in the serene atmosphere of the lake and its environment. Take a stroll through the park, have a fun picnic with your friends or take your dog for a walk! There is also a local movie theatre, for those of you who wish to stay indoors and an art museum in town as well. These are some of the local hotspots for students throughout the school week.
