Tallahassee has a small town feel and over all most of the city is pretty safe. There are a few nicer sides of town like Lake Jackson area and Killarn and Killarn Lakes areas. Frenchtown is the so called “sketchy” part of town, but the city has been cleaning that area up lately. You should always pay attention to your surroundings, but you should be quite safe in Tallahassee.
