  • Fitness and recreation are a key part of the SouthGate experience, with access to two on-site gym facilities that include a full weightlifting room and an upper-level cardio space equipped with ellipticals, treadmills, and free weights. SouthGate also hosts intramural sports opportunities for students who want to stay active and engaged close to home!
  • Daily meals are included with each room and board package through an on-site dining hall offering a variety of home-cooked meals, made-to-order options, snacks, and healthy selections such as salad bars and smoothies. Weekly housekeeping services are also included, providing light cleaning and trash removal.
  • SouthGate offers a Facebook roommate matching page that allows students to connect with others who share similar interests, lifestyles, and values before move-in. Residents can spend time with friends or meet new people in the main ballroom, which features a projector screen, games, and comfortable lounge seating.
  • The community is monitored by Florida Highway Patrol and Tallahassee Police Officers from Thursday through Saturday, providing added peace of mind for both residents and parents. Amazon package lockers are available on-site, making deliveries secure and convenient.
  • Have access to a highly sought after covered parking spot near FSU! Limited parking spots are available in SouthGate's private garage on a first come first serve basis, so enroll and reserve your spot today!

  • Flexible payment options available! Semester payment option allows students to utilize loans, grants and scholarships, or the installment payment plan providing one monthly itemized bill. Student-friendly lease terms (10 months.). Move in the first week of classes and move out the weekend after finals.
  • High speed internet included with monthly installment so you can stream your favorite shows and sports teams!
  • Wall to wall carpeting with ample storage space under beds, perfect for sliding plastic storage bins and clothing containers under the bed for quick access. You can bring both your summer and winter wardrobe switching from under the bed to your furnished armoire as the seasons change!
  • Each floorplan comes fully furnished with a twin XL bed for each roommate, desk with chair, dresser, and armoire for storing your wardrobe and personal items. No need to lug your laundry home to mom, washers and dryers are available on each floor.
  • 10 Foot ceilings and expansive wall space provide several decor options for making your room feel like home! Bring appliances such as a microwave or mini fridge and organize your space with wall mounted organizers so your room stays tidy between housekeeping visit.
