Are you an adventurous TCC college student located at the Tallahassee campus looking for a cool outdoor spot to visit? Lucky for you there are many amazing parks to visit with a diverse number of activities that include boating, picnicking, bicycling and much more! In this article, we will be diving into some of the great parks located in the university's area. If you are a student living in a TCC apartment, you should check these out!

Barnett Family Park

This park is a great place to do a myriad of activities. Locals will know it for the excellent picnic area available, along with the winding labyrinth that can be easily trekked. Take your college friends on a leisurely walk and see what you can find. Maybe you'll find a picture-perfect spot to take photos or find native animals to gaze at and talk about. If you're more into a hands-on activity, the multipurpose field might be just the right place for you. While throwing around the football, perhaps you'll see some native birds fly past or see some cute dogs with their owners strolling by. Don't forget to put on some sunscreen though; that Florida sun is hot! Located at 730 East Orange Street, this park is only a short way away from the TCC Tallahassee campus and only a few minutes away from any Tallahassee apartments. Holloway Park

This location is only a few streets away for TCC college students. Holloway Park has a bunch of activities for students looking for a fun day outdoors. Located at 2402 Holloway Park Drive, the park advertises a nature preserve, disc golf, and amazing walking trails. Stroll through the park with friends looking for local wildlife to see on the available trails. Afterward, you can try out a new sport! Disc golf is available to be played on an 18-hole course that wraps around the entire park, so you and your friends get a full tour of the entire place. This place is a must-see and is fortunately very close to the TCC Campus. If you're curious about visiting, go and explore it for yourself!

Bonnet Springs Park

This park has some of the coolest activities for TCC and FSU students to enjoy. With its boathouse, treehouse, Depot Café, and much more, this is a great park to go to if you are looking for something new. Located at 400 Bonnet Springs Boulevard, Bonnet Springs Park is only 20 minutes away from the off-campus apartments near TCC campus. Take your time looking out at the park from above in the treehouse with a significant other or do some boating with college friends and acquire that tan you've been meaning to get before summer break begins. If you've never been in a café within a park before, totally try out the available beverages at the Depot Café while talking with friends. Overall, this park is a cool experience waiting to be enjoyed by any TCC college student. You should totally take a look at this park!
