Getting some exercise can be deeply beneficial for college students looking to adopt a healthier lifestyle. If you're a student who would rather workout in your TCC apartment than a fitness center, have no fear. There are still plenty of great workouts that you can complete from the comfort of apartments near TCC. From cardio to flexibility, an at-home workout is totally possible. Check out these great exercises perfect for students living in college apartments.
Dance it out.
Dancing is one of my all-time favorite ways to workout! Luckily, there's no shortage of dance workouts. From playing a game of Just Dance on the Wii to following along to MadFit's dance party workouts on Youtube, at-home dance workouts are feasible and fun. If you're interested in following along to some YouTube dance workouts, MadFit is the way to go. She's always creating new, easy-to-follow dance workout videos with trending, catchy songs. With the music and dance moves that she chooses, it's hard to not want to get up and dance!
Take on the challenge.
You've probably heard of Chloe Ting and her workout challenges, but if you haven't Chloe is an Australian fitness YouTuber. Her channel features many intense workouts, but her website is what provides the details. Chloe offers countless free fitness challenges, which can last anywhere from two weeks to a month. Personally, I haven't tried these workouts yet, since they're a little intense. If you're looking for something challenging, though, Chloe Ting's workouts are certainly able to be done in apartments near TCC.
Master the art of yoga.
Get some fresh air on your Tallahassee Community College apartment balcony while following an instructional yoga video. There are so many yoga instructors on Youtube that offer free classes in the subject. Whether you want to focus on meditation, flexibility, or getting your sweat on, there is a yoga instructor that will meet your needs! Yoga is a perfect workout for those living in apartments, as it doesn't require much space other than the small rectangle that is a yoga mat.
Working out from the comfort of your own TCC apartment can be great, but don't feel inclined to workout to a level that you're not ready for. Regardless of why you want to workout, make sure that you enjoy what you do to stay active! For me, dance workouts are a great way to exercise while having fun. If enjoying your workout means doing something different or less strenuous, do it! Exercise should make you happy, not sad. If you find that you aren't loving any of these workouts, there are so many other fun ways to get active! Do what makes you happy!
If you do decide to try any of these workouts in your TCC apartment, remember to be a good neighbor to those on the floors below you or in the units next to you. Wear your headphones or keep the volume to a normal level and limit jumping and dancing to daylight hours. Have fun and get your sweat on!
