In Tallahassee, the main public transportation provider is the StarMetro. The StarMetro bus system serves all of Tallahassee. There are 22 routes, including night routes, that run throughout the city and the earliest service begins at 5:17 a.m. and the latest bus route ends service at 10:50 p.m. Buses can arrive every 10 to 40 minutes even on the popular routes. If you're heading out for a night on the town, that Rhythm Route is a safe and free route that operates late on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The great thing about going to TCC is that all rides on the StarMetro are free! Just show your school ID to the bus driver and take a seat! There are so many ways to take advantage of public transportation while living near TCC. Public transportation reduces the number of cars on the street, which alleviates traffic congestion.
