Are there places to go other than college bars in Tallahassee?

Living in a city engulfed by three major colleges may make it a challenge to find a local watering hole free of students. However, there are areas within the city that are infrequent of student sightings. Take a trip to downtown. Here, you will find a young professional crowd that attend to roof top lounge’s throughout happy hour such as Level 8 Lounge on Monroe Street or Lee’s Wine bar. W xyz Bar is another bar that calls Monroe Street home. This modernly slick styled bar plays low-key music and serves craft beer. B Sharp’s Jazz Club is another entertaining spot to visit. This traditional jazz club serves appetizers, beer, wine and coffee. If you looking something more casual, check out 5th Avenue Tap Room. Although, this bar does tend to have a younger crowd, the students who do frequent here are normally graduate students of college seniors. If you are looking to take a night out from your Tallahassee apartment, take a short drive to Adam’s Street and stop in Andrew’s Capital Grill and Bar. This social atmosphere is right next to the capitol and has been serving the city for over thirty years!
