- Jobs keep coming to the Tallahassee area and it's an upward trend that's expected to continue in 2019.
- 2017 was a year of unprecedented job growth in the capital city. The greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce has been watching the number of local jobs climb each month.

In addition to the rising job market, the housing market in Tallahassee is quite promising. Tallahassee's housing market was hit hard during the recession of the early 2000s, but it is bouncing back nicely. Affordable housing, plus the upswing in the job market, can make Tallahassee seem like a very appealing opportunity.
Tallahassee also offers a wide array of luxurious, yet affordable apartments to choose from. If you are just getting into town and want to be conservative with your money, you can spend as little as $500 a month on rent. On the other hand, if money is less of an issue, you will have no trouble finding the luxury apartment of your dreams. Additionally, if you are being relocated for work, check with your company and see if they offer corporate units. This is a great option if you are new to town and want to learn more about the area before deciding where you want your permanent Tallahassee apartment to be.
Tallahassee is a very interesting city with lots to offer. As the state's capital and the home to two major universities, Florida State University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, there are plenty of things to do for young professionals. The job market is growing every year, and apartments in Tallahassee are reasonably priced. Due to the city being both affordable and continuously growing, you have the unique opportunity to make this place your home before development and popularity has the opportunity to overtake affordability.
