The amount of the deposit required will be different for every apartment community. Most Tallahassee apartments require a deposit, usually equal to one month's rent, plus the first month rent. You may also be asked to pay an application fee to cover the cost of running your credit. If you have pets you can expect to pay a non refundable pet fee.
