Do you have any suggestions for a one-bedroom apartment near FAMU?

FAMU is a great school with tons of opportunities to get involved on campus and meet plenty of new friends. However, at the end of a hectic day some people like to come home to a quiet apartment all to themselves. If this sounds like you, then consider moving into a new one-bedroom apartment. Living in a one-bedroom apartment doesn't make you a loner or a weirdo, it just means you like your own space and privacy – and there's nothing wrong with that! FAMU has plenty of options for students searching for a one-bedroom apartment. A few of my favorite picks are below. But if you want the full list of one-bedroom apartments near FAMU, try using the renttally.com search tools.

University Lofts specializes in living on your own. They only have one-bedroom or studio apartments available. The first one-bedroom layout has 575 square feet, built-in living room storage area, an eat-in kitchen, and goes for $735 per month. The second one-bedroom floor plan is slightly smaller at 500 square feet. It costs $680 per month. University Loft's third option for anyone wanting to live on his or her own is a studio apartment. This floor plan has 420 square feet, a spacious living area, and costs about $600 per month. University Lofts has washer and dryers included in each apartment. This is an awesome feature, considering it can be hard to find one-bedroom apartments with a washer and dyer. Other apartment amenities include: a balcony or patio, ceiling fans, and private bathrooms.

Franklin Pointe is another good housing option for FAMU students searching for a one-bedroom apartment. Franklin Pointe has three different one-bedroom layouts to choose from. The Dogwood has 552 square feet and costs $599 per month. The Palm has 521 square feet and costs $569 each month. And finally the Magnolia has 563 square feet and costs $599 every month. Franklin Pointe comes with great apartment features like: wood floors, storage space, upgraded countertops, walk-in closets, a yard, ceiling fans, private bathrooms.

Located near Stadium Drive by FSU, Villa Dylano is a little farther from FAMU then University Lofts or Franklin Pointe. However, Villa Dylano is still incredibly close to FAMU if you commute by car or bus. This student-focused apartment community has plenty of units with one bedroom. They have two different one-bedroom floor plans: An 855 square foot model that costs $809 per month, or an apartment that goes for $889 per month and has 970 square feet. FAMU students will feel right at home in either of these one-bedroom apartments. The apartments have an alarm system, huge closets, spacious living rooms, plenty of ceiling fans, a balcony or patio, and a washer and dryer included. Fitness fanatics can take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center or the resort-style pool.
