Florida State University Resources and Links

Every new semester brings its own set of challenges for you or your student. Don’t let navigating the web be one of them! We’ve compiled a list of links to get you around school and socials with little hassle.FSU links for navigating FSU

Educational

Remember, there’s always someone to advise or walk you through a problem. Most questions, like billing, scheduling, or academic requirements, can be answered on your MyFSU Portal. If you need class help outside of your academic advisor, try Case Management, located in the stadium. They can help with emergency circumstances or guide you to helpful resources.

Transportation

You don’t need a car at FSU, though parking information is available below. Try FSU’s expansive bus system! It can get you to the stadium and Heritage Grove, and even overlaps with StarMetro stations if you need to go further. There are on-campus, off-campus, and NightNole buses for all of your transportation needs. Just flash your FSU ID to the bus driver for a ride.

Social

FSU is full of endless opportunities. Whether you’re interested in Greek Life or Club Downunder, there’s something for everyone. Or try club sports on the Campus Recreation page. Oglesby Union even has an involvement survey to help you figure out what you might enjoy. Find it here.

Health and Safety

Health and safety remain a top priority at FSU. Are you or your student in crisis? Visit the University Counseling Center or call (850) 644-8255 to make an appointment. 9-1-1 is a great emergency number, but the FSU Police Department can also be reached at (850) 644-1234 for non-emergencies. Remember, you’re never alone.

For Parents

Whether you live in Tallahassee or your student is moving across state lines, it’s bittersweet when your child leaves for college. Remember that they’re just a call or text away. If you’d like to contact your child in other ways, consider the campus UPS store! Students can send and receive packages right on campus. A care package could be just the thing to brighten your student’s day.

  • When sending your student a package by mail, do not send it to their dorm hall. All student packages should be addressed to the UPS Store located on the west side of campus, across from the FSU Police Department. To find your student’s UPS address, have them:
    • visit my.fsu.edu
    • locate the “My Information” box on the right side of the screen, OR enter the “Student Center” and select “My Info”
    • on the left-hand side, select “Addresses”
    • find “U-Box Address”
  • Notes to Your Nole
