No. We are a 3rd party resource that is independent from every property you see listed. We do not own, mange, or lease any apartments. It's our job to help you find the right place and help you connect with the leasing team to reserve your spot.
Is it free to use?
RentTally's resources are completely free for users. The apartment communities pay to be listed and marketed on our site. We just ask that you tell them you used RentTally.com in your search.
What happens after when I submit a contact form?
Your info goes straight to the property you chose. Most students hear back within 24 hours—and if you don't, contact us and we'll follow up for you.
Who sees my information when I fill out a form?
The property you selected receives your request, and so do we—so we can help make sure you get a timely reply. Your information isn't sold or shared with anyone else.
If I have a maintenance issue or a problem with my apartment, can I contact RentTally.com?
Questions about your lease, unit, or management? You'll need to contact the property directly. We do not manage any apartments, and we can't make decisions for the communities we list. If you're stuck waiting on a reply and need help figuring out what to do next, reach out—we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
How do you keep listings up to date?
Accuracy matters—so we don't set it and forget it. We update pricing monthly and stay in touch with properties year-round about renovations, unit upgrades, and shifts in what's offered. Where we have a direct PMS connection, price changes flow in daily. Where we don't, we call the property each month to walk through current rates and specials.
Are you affiliated with local colleges or universities in Tallahassee?
No. RentTally.com is a private, independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by local colleges or universities.
Can parents use RentTally.com too?
